Service Description: OceanOPS platform locations integrated view. Updated in real time based on metadata feed from the Global Telecommunication System of the WMO and global data centre.
The deployment location layer contains the declared coordinates of deployment of the instrument.
The latest location layer contains either the latest coordinates gathered through the different feeds, either the deployment location if the instrument is not emitting yet.
The symbology describes the main categories of instruments handled at OceanOPS coupled with their belonging to GOOS (the Global Ocean Observing System) networks.
This layer represents the end of the chain of the integration and coordination work operated at OceanOPS.
